- Identify and maintain partnerships with clinical and field partners.

- Train preceptors on accreditation requirements.
- Manage evaluations for students and preceptors, providing feedback, as necessary.
- Ensure compliance with clinical site requirements and schedules.
- Generate reports for mandatory clinical documentation.

- Maintain lab equipment and manage repairs as needed.
- Ensure the availability of instructional materials and resources.

- Demonstrate expertise in the Emergency Medical Sciences discipline.

Minimum Requirements
Sampson Community College (SCC) is seeking a dedicated individual for the role of Clinical Coordinator/Instructor in the Emergency Medical Sciences program. This position involves planning, scheduling, and evaluating clinical settings for students, ensuring quality education, and maintaining compliance with accrediting bodies.
- Bachelor’s degree in the teaching discipline or an associate degree with demonstrated competencies; bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in the medical field, including paramedic experience.
- Certification in BLS, ACLS, PALS, PHTLS, and AMLS.
- North Carolina Level I Paramedic Instructor credential (or eligibility for Level II within 1 year).
- Previous teaching experience preferred, including online course delivery and use of instructional technology.
